Join to apply for the House Attendant role at Sonesta International Hotels

The House Attendant (HA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to assist Room Attendants on assigned floors or buildings by collecting dirty linens, transporting them to the laundry area, delivering clean linens to Room Attendant carts, and retrieving trash throughout the hotel. They also assist with the commercial laundry function and/or the cleaning of public areas, exterior entrances, and parking lots. The HA may be assigned special projects by the Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent guest service according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Assisting with heavy items such as mattresses and linens, and delivering supplies to Room Attendants.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors.
• Responding promptly to guest requests and cleaning designated areas.
• Reporting repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Participating in deep cleaning projects and monitoring laundry supplies and equipment.
• Promoting teamwork and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in extended stay industries.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages are beneficial.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
