Job Overview

The Team Leader will assist the General Manager (GM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in the operation of a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant. Responsibilities include ensuring a superb guest experience, maintaining an invigorating work environment, and helping achieve financial objectives. Key areas include Guest Service and Shift Management.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Assist the GM and AM in daily restaurant operations within the budget.
2. Ensure compliance with food standards, quality, and safety procedures.
3. Follow Chicken Salad Chick procedures in all areas of the restaurant.
4. Train and counsel hourly team members during shifts.
5. Provide high levels of hospitality and service to guests.
6. Coach team members as needed during shifts.
7. Manage personnel records, schedules, and reports.
8. Maintain administrative and financial records as directed.
9. Present specials, promotions, and marketing plans during shifts.
10. Maintain restaurant hours of operation.
11. Ensure safety and sanitation compliance with all regulations.
12. Make decisions on team assignments, disciplinary actions, shift operations, and cleanliness.
13. Defer hiring, firing, pay increases, vendor choices, scheduling, and purchases beyond normal shift needs to GM/AM.

Education and Experience
