Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Kendallville, IN is seeking an hourly Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator to support staffing from candidate recruitment through onboarding and workforce planning. The role focuses on hourly recruiting, temporary workforce coordination, new-hire onboarding, internal bidding, and employee movements.

The coordinator will partner with HR, Operations, Training, Process Owners and staffing agencies to maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years direct HR experience.
• Strong communication across all levels of staff, including executives.
• Proficient in presentation, facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Staffing: partner with plant leadership to assess staffing needs and manage recruitment for hourly roles.
• Onboarding & Orientation: coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required training.
• Temporary Workforce Management: coordinate temporary staff, scheduling and conversions to full-time where applicable.
• Internal Bidding & Employee Movement: manage hourly internal bidding, postings and transfers in HR systems.
• Continuous Improvement & General Responsibilities: identify process improvements and maintain confidentiality of information.
