Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Recruiting, Onboarding & Workforce Coordinator for the Kendallville plant. This hourly manufacturing position supports staffing from candidate recruitment through onboarding, placement, and workforce planning, partnering with HR, Operations, and Training to ensure the right staffing levels.

The role involves coordinating interviews, new-hire orientation, and temporary staffing, with emphasis on a smooth onboarding experience and effective collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of direct experience in HR field.
• Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives.
• Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.

Responsibilities

• Support hourly recruiting and onboarding processes from candidate recruitment through onboarding and workforce planning.
• Coordinate interviews, onboarding activities, and new-hire orientation.
• Manage temporary workforce coordination and internal bidding within HR systems (e.g., Workday).
• Partner with HR, Operations, Training, and plant leadership to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in recruiting, onboarding, and staffing processes.
