Qualifications
Food Production:
- Ensure menu items are correctly made and presented attractively, following recipes and guidelines
- Forecast food production and implement systems accordingly
- Possess knowledge of recipes, products, and timing
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including cooler stripping
- Receive and store products properly to ensure quality and freshness
Guest Satisfaction:
- Assist in ensuring guest satisfaction to increase guest count and sales
- Capable of running shifts in the absence of senior management
- Create a hassle-free dining environment
- Follow catering and take-out guidelines
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience
- Lead by example with warm greetings and acknowledgments
- Handle complaints effectively
- Maintain visible management presence during meal periods
Sanitation and Safety:
- Maintain sanitation standards per health department and company policies
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe Certification
- Ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and react calmly to emergencies
Administration:
- Complete daily paperwork accurately
- Follow cash control guidelines
- Improve operations based on performance metrics
- Participate in inventory and reporting procedures
- Manage sales forecasts and control costs
Human Resources:
- Assist in recruiting efforts
- Comply with employment laws and regulations
- Maintain employee records and monitor staffing needs
- Foster a positive work environment
Training:
- Lead a 6-week training program for new hires and staff development
- Participate in management meetings and performance reviews
- Ensure disciplinary procedures are followed
