Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a dedicated Steward to support culinary operations by keeping kitchens clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards. You will assist with dishwashing, storage, and equipment preparation for restaurants, banquets, and events.

The ideal candidate embraces teamwork, reliability, and a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a focus on safety and guest experience behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in stewarding, dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, banquet, hotel, or hospitality is preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across kitchens, dish areas, storage, and banquet spaces.
• Support kitchen and banquet teams by ensuring clean equipment and supplies are available.
• Assist with waste removal, floor cleaning, and sanitation standards.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, OSHA, and hotel safety procedures.
