Job summary

Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans is seeking a dependable dishwashing associate to support our kitchen team. You will clear and rinse dishes, sanitize utensils, maintain a clean dish station, and help with food prep areas as needed.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to hospitality standards in a historic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Attention to cleanliness and sanitation

Responsibilities

• Sort, rinse, and rack dishes and run through the dish machine
• Carry clean dishes to the line and transport to storage areas
• Change dishwater hourly and maintain sanitation throughout shift
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand as needed
• Remove trash and handle waste disposal
• Set up and break down the dishwashing area
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions and sanitize
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies and report low items
