Job summary

Renaissance Baton Rouge is seeking a full-time Steward/Dishwasher to keep china, glassware and utensils clean, sanitized, and ready for service in the dish hall. You will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment and assist with routine duties as needed.

The ideal candidate can stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and work flexible hours. Previous hotel or culinary experience is helpful, with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible hours required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and carry with effort.
• Strong safety and sanitation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the dish washing station and related duties.
• Clean, sanitize and dry china, glassware and utensils.
• Keep tables and dining areas clean and presentable.
• Assist other staff to meet guest volume and complete side duties.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
