Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform routine accounting duties, ensure accurate revenue and cost reporting, and support timely invoice payments at the Atlanta area property.

The role requires an Associate Degree and at least 1 year in accounting/clerical work, with fluent English and hotel experience preferred. Expect standard hotel housekeeping and front desk coordination along with occasional night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and a minimum of 1 year experience in accounting clerical, front office, or reservations position or similar.
• Hotel experience preferred and ability to speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Summarize and post data to journals, ledgers and other accounting records; reconcile accounts and bank statements.
• Obtain approvals on invoices, prepare ledger entries and balance discrepancies with vendors.
• Monitor aging, prepare statements and send collection letters for delinquent accounts.
• Process direct billing requests, research card disputes, and balance credit card transmittals.
• Maintain accounting files and assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Assist with daily bank deposits and safeguard hotel funds; support internal controls.
