Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support daily operations, entry of financial data, reconciliations, and reporting for our Columbus properties. You will work closely with hotel finance teams to ensure accuracy, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork while handling confidential financial information and supporting audits and payroll activities as needed.

Competenze

• Data entry, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
• Month-end close and reporting processes experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable processes.

Mansioni

• Support daily accounting operations including invoice processing, data entry, filing, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial record maintenance.
• Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, operational documentation, and accounting records accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices, receipts, expense reports, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Support cash handling processes, deposits, billing updates, account tracking, and operational finance activities as needed.
• Maintain organized accounting files, records, audit documentation, and operational financial systems.
• Assist with month-end close processes, reconciliations, operational reporting, and financial deadlines.
• Partner closely with Finance leadership and hotel departments to support operational accuracy and smooth financial processes.
• Respond professionally to vendor inquiries, billing questions, and internal operational requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial and employee information.
• Support audits, inventory reviews, payroll support, purchasing documentation, and additional accounting projects as needed.
• Help foster a collaborative, organized, and business-focused culture aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.
