Job summary

Stonebridge Companies’ JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown in Atlanta, GA seeks a professional Sous Chef to supervise food preparation across all hotel culinary operations, ensuring quality, portion control, taste, and presentation meet Executive Chef standards.

You will lead the kitchen team, train staff, manage inventory and costs, enforce health and safety regulations, coordinate with banquet and restaurant teams, and support menu development while ensuring high service levels for daily and event

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a culinary leadership role, preferably in hotel/restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, portion control, and presentation.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and ensure health and sanitation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise food preparation ensuring quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Assist Executive Chef with menu planning and cost awareness.
• Coach and train kitchen staff, providing feedback and development.
• Oversee kitchen safety and equipment usage; enforce sanitation standards.
