Job summary

Salt Lake City Marriott University Park offers mountain and city views with modern amenities in a premier location. We are seeking a friendly guest services associate to welcome guests and help ensure a smooth stay. Greet guests, assist seating, present menus, answer questions, and memorize daily specials and wine options.

Maintain cash handling procedures and keep service professional. Requires 21+ to serve alcohol, flexible schedule (days/evenings/weekends/holidays), and Utah food handler

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience required.
• Ability to handle cash and basic transactions.
• 21+ to serve alcohol and comply with Utah liquor laws.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist host/hostess in seating as needed.
• Present menu, answer questions, and suggest food, wine, and preparations.
• Memorize daily specials and relevant ingredients.
• Follow cash handling procedures accurately.
• Maintain professional behavior and resolve guest concerns promptly.
