The Legendary Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY is seeking a qualified 3rd Shift Security Supervisor to ensure the safety of guests, associates and premises. You will oversee training for new Officers, monitor staff performance, and complete daily reports while maintaining professional service.

Applicants should have prior security experience, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security role is required.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications.
• CPR/First Aid certification desired.
• Professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates and hotel premises.
• Oversee comprehensive training for new Officers.
• Monitor staff performance and activities.
• Complete several types of reports on a daily basis.
• Identify and correct, or report potentially hazardous conditions or situations.
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, accident and safety concerns.
• Patrol the property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported.
• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards.
• Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations.
• Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records.
• Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report.
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned
