Job summary

Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY is seeking a Security Patrol Officer for 2nd and 3rd shifts to help maintain a safe environment for guests and associates. You will patrol the property and monitor surveillance cameras, respond to incidents, and enforce hotel policies.

The role requires alertness, integrity, and the ability to communicate clearly; prior security experience and a High School Diploma are preferred. We offer benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Background check required prior to start.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Strong judgement and ability to follow directions and company policy.
• Professional appearance and ability to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property to protect against theft, vandalism, and safety hazards.
• Monitor hotel entrances/exits and surveillance cameras; greet and assist guests as needed.
• Lock and unlock doors and access points as required.
• Observe and report violations and deter criminal activity.
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
