The Galt House Hotel is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a 3rd Shift Security Supervisor (11 PM–7 AM). The role emphasizes protecting guests, associates, and hotel property while overseeing new Officer training and daily incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• Proficient with Windows applications and basic computer tasks.
• CPR/First Aid certification desired.
• Must present professionally and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall safety and security of guests, associates, and premises.
• Oversee training for new Officers and monitor staff performance.
• Complete daily safety and incident reports.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions or situations.
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner (fire, accidents, safety concerns).
• Patrol property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity.
• Investigate and report any policy or law violations.
• Maintain key control audits and records.
• Maintain Daily Activity Reports and assist guests with facility info.
• Adhere to department policies, procedures and safety standards.

Job description

The Legendary Galt House Hotel is looking for a qualified individual to assume the role of a 3rd Shift Security Supervisor during the hours of (11 PM- 7 AM). The criteria for this position is as follows:

Job Description

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates and hotel premises
• Oversee comprehensive training for new Officers
• Monitor staff performance and activities
• Complete several types of reports on a daily basis
• Identify and correct, or report potentially hazardous conditions or situations
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, accident and safety concerns
• Patrol the property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported
• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
• Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
• Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
• Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security role required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Certification in CPR First Aid desired
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem- solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
