Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or greater.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in security.
• Hotel or Retail experience a plus.
• Certification: Preferred, but not required.
• Strong Surveillance, Judgment, Integrity, and Objectivity skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
• Deals well with uncertainty.

• Read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to carry and/or lift at least 50 pounds and push/pull roughly 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting interior and exterior and access points.
• Prevents losses by reporting irregularities and restraining trespassers.
• Maintains a customer service mindset with a guests-first attitude.
• Resolves guest complaints to the guest's satisfaction and responds promptly to service requests.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and adjusting building and equipment controls.
• Directs guest vehicle traffic as needed to maintain flow and safety.
• Responds to emergencies by sounding alarms and calling for assistance.
• Abides by uniform guidelines and attends brand/hotel training sessions.
• Works as part of the hotel team to exceed guest expectations.
