Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a Security Guard to protect guests, staff, and property. The role involves patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and enforcing hotel rules to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting findings, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed. Valid licenses and certifications, plus flexibility for night/weekend shifts, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required locally.
• Valid security guard license or certification where required.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises and deter security risks.
• Monitor cameras and alarms; respond to incidents.
• Document incidents with detailed reports.
• Escort guests and staff as needed for safety.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures.
• Address guest safety concerns professionally.
• Assist in crowd control during events or high occupancy.
• Inspect fire exits and emergency equipment.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
