Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, employees, and property across our hotel portfolio. The role enforces security policies, conducts safety checks, investigates incidents, and supports emergency procedures.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, able to communicate clearly, and available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work is on-site at hotel properties, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Regular and punctual attendance required.
• Ability to stand and walk on a continuous basis and run when warranted.
• Understand and execute safety and emergency procedures (fire, crowd control, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Perform hotel security duties including fire prevention and safety checks.
• Investigate thefts, accidents, and incidents on property.
• Prevent losses of company and guest property due to theft and other criminal activity.
• Ensure a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Assist guests and colleagues on safety-related enquiries.
• Resolves safety and security complaints.
• Conduct floor patrols and secure facilities during non-operating hours.
• Monitor activities to counter theft and criminal activities.
• Complete incident reports and notify departments for repairs.
