Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, employees, and property across our Rosemont area hotels. You’ll perform fire prevention, safety checks, investigate incidents, patrol floors, and enforce security policies in line with Sonesta guidelines.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies; mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform security duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service standards to guests and colleagues.
• Perform fire prevention and safety checks.
• Investigate thefts, accidents, and security incidents.
• Protect assets and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct patrols and monitor for security risks.
• Complete safety reports and communicate deficiencies to management.
