Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol the property, monitor access, and respond to incidents to ensure guest and team member safety. You will document actions, maintain records, and collaborate with leadership on safety initiatives.

Qualified candidates bring calm decision-making, strong communication, and a commitment to service. Prior security or hospitality experience is preferred, with flexibility for various shifts and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security or related field (1–3 years preferred).
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Experience operating security systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to entrances and maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Perform regular patrols and address safety hazards to support guest satisfaction.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures.
• Maintain logs of visitor access and package removal.
• Inspect packages and ensure facility integrity.
• Document incidents clearly for accountability.
• Enforce hotel policies consistently to protect guests and staff.
• Communicate professionally with guests and team members.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity promptly.
• Coordinate safety-related maintenance with management.
• Handle lost and found items and support safety training.
