Job summary

Hilton Nashville Downtown is seeking a Security Officer responsible for the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. You will respond to emergencies, conduct regular safety walkthroughs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, be capable of following procedures, and handle reports such as theft or injuries. Prior security experience and CPR/First aid certification are preferred; hotel operations may require supporting other

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of guests, employees and property.
• Be first responder in emergencies (guest illness, fire, accidents).
• Conduct security walkthroughs of hotel areas and report issues.
• Communicate calmly and clearly during emergencies and give directions.
• Follow applicable safety regulations and corporate standards.
• Handle lost & found and prepare theft or injury reports.
• Other duties as assigned and assist operations as needed.
