Job summary

SpringHill Suites Paso Robles-Atascadero is seeking a Sales Manager to maximize revenue for the group segment and booking of events. You will drive new business, respond to opportunities promptly, and collaborate with the operations team to implement sales strategies.

The role requires proactive outreach and strong leadership in hospitality. You will analyze market trends, coordinate activities to grow revenue, and work with Revenue Management to optimize profits while delivering guest

Responsibilities

• Developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts and implementing sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and maximize profits for the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Analyze current/potential market and sales trends.
• Coordinate activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through added business and rate.
• Ensure group and events procedures are followed by all team members.
• Develop knowledge of market trends and competition to align group and event offerings with the market.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to maximize revenue decisions.
• Assist Director of Sales with hotel rooms and events selling strategies.
• Solicit new and existing business to meet revenue targets (cold calls, direct sales, blitzes, site tours).
• Generate proposals, contracts, customer correspondence, and turnover for booked business.
• Participate in weekly calls to review 30/60/90 day forecasts to meet budgets.
• Demonstrate leadership in hospitality and customer service.
• Build relationships with peers and competitors.
• Complete sales objectives and action plans as directed.
