Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC is seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to oversee sales and marketing operations for a full-service hotel, driving occupancy and ADR growth while meeting profit objectives. You will supervise Sales Managers, participate in budget, forecast, and marketing plans, and lead staff development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year degree with related experience
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Excellent verbal & written communication to negotiate and influence
• Strong selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
• Organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Comfort with financial data and basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all group, transient, and catering sales solicitations to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage the division's annual budget and marketing plans.
• Book group/banquet business with onsite and remote sales teams.
• Lead outside sales calls, sales tours, and client entertainment.
• Negotiate terms in contracts and forecast revenue opportunities.
• Train staff on sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
