Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality seeks a Director of Sales to oversee sales and marketing for a select-service hotel, driving occupancy, growing accounts, and attracting new business. The role manages day-to-day sales operations, direct sales efforts, follow-ups, and training while developing forecasts, campaigns, and annual budgets within approved limits.

The position requires leadership to optimize revenue, loyalty, and market share, with weekly travel to cultivate relationships with corporate clients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years progressive hotel sales experience, or a 4-year degree with 2+ years in sales.
• Driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for negotiating with management, guests, and corporate clients.
• Strong prospecting, opening, probing, and closing sales skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking for sales deployment.
• Proficient with general computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and stay organized.
• Experience working with diverse teams and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate group, transient, and catering sales to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage annual budget, marketing, PR, and sales programs.
• Lead outside sales calls, tours, and client entertainment.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable outcomes.
• Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Track top account performance and forecast opportunities.
