Job summary

SpringHill Suites Atlanta/Buford Mall of Georgia seeks an Area Sales Manager to maximize sales occupancy and rates in collaboration with hotel operations. This 100% office-based role covers both SpringHill Suites and Hampton Inn Buford properties, driving business through proactive sales strategies and client engagement.

The successful candidate will contribute to annual marketing plans, manage leads from proposal to booking, and maintain strong client relationships, while meeting sales quotas

Qualifications

• Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented approach focused on guest experience and service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aggressive sales solicitation with outside calls, inside appointments, phone calls, direct mail.
• Assist the Director of Sales in preparing the annual marketing plan and market-segment action plans.
• Send proposals on leads that fit the property profile and follow through to convert to definite status.
• Document and reserve client room block requirements and meeting space; coordinate catering needs.
• Maintain a sales quota and provide weekly sales call reports and itineraries; uphold guest satisfaction.
