Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the SpringHill Suites and Hampton Inn Buford/Mall of Georgia. This full-time, office-based role focuses on maximizing occupancy and room rates by aggressively developing new business and nurturing existing relationships across two properties.

You will lead the proposal process, coordinate with General Managers on annual marketing plans, deliver weekly sales reports, and ensure accurate group blocks and catering details.

Qualifications

• Strong business communication and presentation skills.
• Talk and listen to clients, demonstrating sales skills in a professional and courteous manner.
• May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aggressive sales solicitation with outside calls, inside appointments, phone calls, and direct mail.
• Assist General Managers in preparing the annual marketing plan and action plans for market segments.
• Send proposals on leads and convert from proposal to definite status; promptly confirm bookings.
• Document client room block, suite, meeting, and banquet space requirements for accurate reservations.
• Prepare weekly sales call reports and itineraries for potential customers.
