Melrosehoteldc is seeking an Area Sales Manager for SpringHill Suites/Hampton Inn Buford. The role is 100% office-based, focusing on maximizing occupancy and rates through aggressive sales efforts for both properties across the Buford Mall of Georgia area.

The ideal candidate will drive direct sales, manage proposals, coordinate with General Managers on marketing plans, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring guest satisfaction and teamwork. Some travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong business communication and presentation skills.
• Talk and listen to clients, demonstrating excellent sales skills by knowing and selling product in a professional and courteous manner.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
• Physical requirements in-office role and ability to work with a computer and office equipment.

Aufgaben

• Conduct aggressive sales solicitation with outside calls, appointments, mail, and proposals.
• Assist GMs in annual marketing plan and action plans for market segments.
• Send proposals and follow through to convert leads to definite status.
• Document client room block requirements, meeting space, and billing information.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and provide weekly sales call reports and itineraries.
• Promote courteous, positive attitudes in all encounters.
• Perform reasonable tasks assigned by management.
