Job summary

Maya Hotels in Charlotte, NC is seeking a results-driven Sales Coordinator to support the hotel’s sales team by managing bookings, site tours, and client communications. This role also involves coordinating group events, drafting proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will monitor leads and progress, work with catering and operations to ensure flawless execution, and provide ongoing reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in hotel or event venue sales.
• Experience with group sales, event coordination, or managing group room blocks is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and client service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and common CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain client information, sales activities, and bookings in Copper (CRM).
• Update event details, contracts, and BEOs in TripleSeat for operations coordination.
• Draft proposals, contracts, and follow-up correspondence for group bookings.
• Monitor sales leads, bookings, and conversions; report to Director of Sales.
• Conduct site tours for prospective clients and tailor them to event needs.
• Coordinate catering plans, room setups, and event logistics with teams.
• Identify SMERF opportunities and pursue bookings.
• Schedule meetings, compile sales reports, and maintain records.
