Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bozeman is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the hotel’s sales team, drive revenue growth, and build key client relationships. You will develop strategic plans, oversee budgets, and coordinate events to maximize market presence.

The ideal candidate has extensive hospitality sales experience, leadership ability, and a track record of achieving targets while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, corporate accounts, and other stakeholders.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Revenue Management: Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
