Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead the hotel’s sales efforts and drive profitable revenue growth. This role collaborates with hotel leadership, Revenue Management, and operations to reach occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and catering targets.

With a diverse local book of business near West Virginia University and related venues, the position requires strategic prospecting, relationship-building, and a proven ability to close high-value opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferred hotel sales leadership experience.
• Hilton-brand experience is a plus.
• Delphi or comparable hotel sales CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals.
• Prospect and develop corporate, group, catering, and negotiated accounts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and top accounts.
• Respond to leads, prepare proposals and contracts, and close opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, site tours, and networking events.
• Maintain a future sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
• Participate in revenue strategy and hotel leadership meetings.
• Monitor market trends and local demand generators.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and account information.
• Collaborate with Operations and F&B to execute group events.
• Identify opportunities to increase market share during need periods.
• Represent the hotel professionally in Morgantown’s business community.
