Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public areas. You will clean bathrooms, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum, restock amenities, and ensure safe, inviting spaces for guests and coworkers.

This on-site full-time role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and reliable attendance. You will follow cleaning procedures, use approved chemicals, and assist with other duties as needed to support a high standard of

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and reach high areas.
• Willing to pitch in and help coworkers as a team player.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and safe use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip beds and change linens; handle bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, drawers, ledges and shelves; vacuum rooms.
• Restock amenities and linens; manage room keys and carts.
• Inspect room for cleanliness and report issues.
