Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a friendly and professional server for Reef 76 Kitchen & Bar to deliver a memorable dining experience aligned with Omni standards. You will greet guests, take orders, present menus, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced environment along Florida's vibrant coast.

The role requires at least 1 year of serving experience, knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, and the ability to input orders in the MICROS system. TIPS and ServSafe certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience.
• Must acquire TIPS and ServSafe certifications.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling wines.
• Ability to input information into MICROS accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide exemplary service.
• Set tables according to event standards.
• Suggestively sell items and answer questions about the menu.
• Record transactions in MICROS and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and manage side-work.
• Communicate with culinary team about dietary needs.
• Be pleasant and greet guests using surnames when obtained.
• Work shifts including weekends and holidays.
