Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join Reef 76 Kitchen & Bar. Greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and ensure drink presentation and accuracy using MICROS, while upholding Omni standards.

Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, knowledge of wine, spirits and beer, and strong English communication. Some shifts include weekends and holidays; opportunities for growth and a vibrant, Caribbean-influenced dining environment on the Florida coast.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience.
• Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Ability to input information into MICROS accurately.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow Omni rules, policies, procedures, standards and recipes.
• Set up and maintain a clean, efficient bar.
• Greet guests and provide superior customer service.
• Take orders and suggest menu items and daily specials.
• Mix drinks according to standard recipes and ensure consistency in presentation.
