Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts in Massachusetts seeks an experienced General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, manage staff and enforce brand standards. You will drive guest satisfaction, optimize revenue, control costs, and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating departments, training staff, and maintaining high service levels while delivering on budget goals. On-site leadership in a busy hotel environment with a focus on guest experience and team development.

Qualifications

• High school education plus coursework in culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management, or related major.
• Three or more years of related experience in hospitality.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guest Satisfaction – manage restaurant services, schedules, budgets and staff performance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Human Resources – hire, train, coach, resolve conflicts, discipline and terminate staff per policy.
• Sales/Profitability – contribute to budget, manage costs, upsell hotel services and ensure revenue objectives.
• Life Safety/Risk Management – assist with safety procedures, compliance and accident prevention.
• Asset Management – ensure cash handling controls and asset protection; collaborate with Corporate Office.
• Leadership – lead daily operations, maintain brand standards, coach staff and ensure attendance and professionalism.
• Communication – maintain professional communication with guests and colleagues; run regular staff meetings.
• Administration – prepare reports, support budgeting, and assist with special projects.
