Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN to protect guests and property at a hotel and resort location. The role emphasizes customer service, visible patrols, and professional response to security concerns.

You will monitor access points, perform regular patrols, and document incidents while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. This is a full-time, unarmed position with daytime/evening shifts."

Qualifications

• Minimum required: customer service experience in a security environment.
• Unarmed patrol experience preferred in hotels/resorts.
• Ability to observe, report and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort common areas, guest-accessible spaces, parking areas, service corridors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
