Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort common areas, guest-accessible spaces, parking areas, service corridors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
