Job summary

Onix Hospitality seeks a Prep Cook in West Chester, PA to prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes, supporting beverages and outlets across the property. You will help ensure quality and consistency for all meals and events, aligning with property standards.

The role involves breakfast and event preparation, kitchen organization, and collaboration with the food and beverage team to meet guest expectations while upholding health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation.
• Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, sous vide).
• Ability to obtain government-required food service licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes to create quality food products.
• Cook items for breakfast and meetings on a timely basis.
• Organize the kitchen to respond to guest orders and maintain presentation quality.
• Review upcoming events and advise on purchasing requirements.
• Report equipment needs to the General Manager for repair.
• Perform routine cleaning to adhere to health standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
