Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking friendly, professional PBX staff to be the first point of contact for guests by phone. Roles include answering calls, taking room service orders, and directing needs to the right department.

Both part-time and full-time positions are available in a dynamic hotel environment. Strong computer skills and comfort with mobile apps are important, along with prior guest service experience.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience is required.
• Hotel experience is highly preferred.
• A friendly and professional demeanor is important.
• Strong computer skills and a comfort level with mobile apps.
• Able to multitask and remain calm during emergencies and heavy hotel activity.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from guests, external and in-house.
• Communicate guest needs to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure requests are handled.
• Take room service orders.
• Field guest complaints and conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions.
• Negotiate results and resolve problems such as price conflicts or heating/air conditioning issues.
