Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Aloft Hotel in NW Austin, Texas. This full-time leadership role oversees front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Candidates should have 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience and familiarity with major brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt).

Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience.
Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
Knowledgeable in financial statements and budget including staffing guidelines.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service results.

Responsibilities

Directing and coordinating front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance.
Maximizing ADR and Occupancy.
Coordinating communications between Sales and Operating departments.
Motivating, coaching, and training department supervisors.
Understanding financial statements and budget, including staffing guidelines.
Controlling department head schedule, expenses, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Guiding, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations.
Managing safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives.
Maintaining a cooperative and positive work environment.
