Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Memphis, TN to lead hotel operations and guest service at Staybridge Suites Memphis Poplar Ave East. You will partner with the GM to supervise departments, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires experienced leadership, problem solving, and a customer‑driven mindset, with duties spanning staffing, training, and financial oversight, including reporting and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or F&B) or a related degree with experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple departments and drive profitability by managing teams with the GM.
• Identify challenges and ensure smooth hotel operations each day.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and develop others.
• Listen actively and communicate clearly with staff and guests.
• Handle financial data and support operational decisions.
• Utilize Windows OS for reporting and management tasks.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Deliver a friendly, service-focused guest experience.
