Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education preferred.
• Budget management, cost controls, and financial statement knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and welcoming demeanor in guest interactions.
• Knowledge of the local area and hotel services.
• Minimum 2 years hotel experience required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities across front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance.
• Maximize ADR and occupancy levels.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to align strategies.
• Motivate, coach, and train department leaders.
• Understand financial statements and budgets, including staffing guidelines.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining service standards.
• Oversee VIP program and ensure its proper execution.
• Manage cash, checks, and credit card transactions per policy.
• Prepare and manage team schedules and reconcile room discrepancies.
• Complete weekly and monthly reports.
• Attend meetings and maintain cross-department communication.
• Manage safety program including training, reporting, incentives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in recruiting, training, evaluating new associates.
• Provide coaching and support to team.
• Maintain safety and security protocols including keys and emergencies.
• Participate in daily hotel operations meetings and contribute to strategy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
