Job summary

Highgate Hotels seeks an Assistant General Manager at Courtyard Las Vegas to lead hotel operations and drive profitability through revenue management and cost control. You will partner with department heads to maintain guest satisfaction and develop staff, serving as the primary MOD when the General Manager is absent.

You will oversee budgeting, training, and compliance with Highgate SOPs while sustaining impeccable guest service and operational standards in a dynamic Las Vegas property.

Qualifications

• At least 5-6 years progressive experience in a hotel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Ability to lead and train managers and staff.
• Proactive in financial planning and budget adherence.
• Committed to guest satisfaction and service standards.
• Ability to work extended hours and manage MOD responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Tour operating departments daily and adjust plans with department heads.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and training aligned with Highgate Hotel standards.
• Meet financial review dates and corporate programs on schedule.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors.
• Oversee budget processes and ensure adherence to SOPs and standards.
• Develop managers for advancement through formal training programs.
• Participate in MOD coverage as scheduled and support hotel operations.
• Maintain training in service standards and ensure compliance across departments.
• Stabilize team performance to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
