Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced hospitality leader for the Birmingham Courtyard by Marriott Downtown at UAB. The role involves assisting the General Manager in day-to-day operations, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring guest satisfaction across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in hotel leadership, a hospitality degree, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a senior hotel leader (AGM, FOM, Director of Finance/Operations or GM).
• Experience in hotel operations, front desk and accounting background is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily hotel operations and financials.
• Coordinate activities across departments (front desk, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance).
• Ensure adherence to policies, brand standards and safety protocols.
• Recruit, train and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor budget and operating expenses; prepare regular performance reports.
