Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to assist in managing operations across a full-service property. You will oversee guest services, revenue generation, and cost control while upholding the brand's standards and DHM core values.

In the absence of the General Manager, you will act as GM, lead departments, coach staff, and ensure top quality customer service around the clock.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years hotel management experience at Department Head level or above.
• Full Service Hotel Experience.
• Proven ability to create a profitable culture of accountability and build cohesive teams.
• Requires strong verbal and written English communication and listening skills.
• Ability to read occupancy reports and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates.
• Oversee hotel departments to ensure optimal service levels.
• Assist GM with forecasts, reports and budget development to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and brand standards and work to improve overall satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints and anticipate problems by reviewing operations and staff performance.
• Oversee internal audit standards and compliance.
• Collaborate with sales to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor front office systems and equipment for optimum performance.
• Create actionable plans to remedy service deficiencies.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, evaluating staff and recognizing department heads.
