Job summary

AC Hotels by Marriott in National Harbor, MD seeks an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to supervise operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B/Culinary and Engineering, driving guest satisfaction and financial performance.

You will lead staff, implement standards, and collaborate with department heads to meet property goals. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years’ hospitality experience, or a 2-year degree plus 2 years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Leads operations teams; translates goals to staff and monitors guest tracking and productivity.
• Creates a motivating property environment with teamwork, continuous improvement and service focus.
• Assesses guest and employee satisfaction and develops plans to address needs and leverage strengths.
• Ensures team has capabilities to meet expectations; leads by example with energy and enthusiasm.
• Manages interactions with guests, responds to concerns, and maintains professional courtesy at all times.
• Reviews financial statements and performance data to identify areas for cost reduction and improvements.
• Interviews and participates in hiring; ensures timely onboarding for new staff.
