General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Director of Operations for the Hilton Garden Inn in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role provides operational, accounting, administration, and HR support to department leaders to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient running of the property.

Responsibilities include staff training, onboarding, adherence to policies, MOD coverage, and coordinating with departments on billing and payroll.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office including Excel and Word.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and brand standard training.
• Conduct employee onboarding.
• Adhere to Hilton and General Hotels Corp policies and procedures.
• Participate in the manager on duty program—cover MOD shifts.
• Assist with food & beverage and housekeeping duties as needed for guest satisfaction.
• Review guest ledger, AR ledger, and deposit ledger to ensure timely clearance.
• Assist with hotel accounting and payroll.
• Prepare and submit month-end reporting as per management timeline.
• Manage accounts receivable including new accounts, invoicing, payments, and collections.
• File HR and accounting documents (physical and digital).
• Coordinate with sales to bill groups accounts accurately and timely.
• Respond to guest billing inquiries promptly.
• Perform admin duties for Homewood Suites Keystone at the Crossing: calls, emails, and interdepartmental communication.
• Complete special projects.
• Order office stationery and supplies.
• Maintain a filing system for customer and partner data.
• Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
