Job summary

LodgeWorks is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the overall operation of a multi-hotel portfolio with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maximizing revenue and occupancy. You will partner with the General Manager to drive performance, manage departments, and maintain brand standards across properties.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to staff development, cost control, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hotel operations or related leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead large teams across departments.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality.
• Experience managing budgets, payroll and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise property operations in partnership with the GM.
• Oversee departments to maintain service levels and brand standards.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash handling, audits and reporting.
• Conduct regular property inspections and preventive maintenance oversight.
• Schedule and coach staff; conduct monthly meetings and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure guest privacy, security, and emergency procedures are followed.
• Monitor occupancy, forecast demand and drive revenue and cost controls.
