Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B, drive profitability, and ensure superior guest experiences in a full-service environment.

You will collaborate with the General Manager, manage budgets, develop efficiency programs, mentor staff, and ensure seamless cross-department communication. A hospitality degree is preferred with a minimum of five years in hotel management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of Hotel Management experience.
• Technical Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with hotel reservation and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation of Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage including banquet with focus on F&B outlets.
• Work with Front Office, Housekeeping, Accounting and Engineering aspects.
• Execute company policies with continuous quality and service improvements.
• Interact with General Manager and department heads to maximize revenues.
• Control costs and manage budgeted expenses.
• Develop programs to improve operation efficiency and guest service.
• Train staff and ensure effective communication across teams.
• Observe staff performance and coordinate improvement actions.
• Coach and motivate team members; manage recognition programs.
• Conduct audits and report irregularities with accounting.
• Lead in absence of General Manager and participate in management meetings.
