Position Overview

As the Hotel Manager at Citizen House, you will oversee the overall operations and management of the prestigious 16-key hotel. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of member satisfaction and delivering exceptional service. With extensive hospitality experience, you will lead a team of professionals, coordinate departments, and uphold Citizen House’s reputation for excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
  • Ensure standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
  • Foster a positive, cohesive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain efficient procedures and standards.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure exceptional service.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, VIPs, and industry partners.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Handle guest and member complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to foster innovation.
  • Represent the hotel and club at industry events and functions.
  • Support security in maintaining a safe environment.
  • Assist front desk with check-in/out processes and guest requests.
  • Manage guest records and reservations as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven managerial experience in the luxury hotel industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and sales.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Business acumen and financial performance skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and relevant software.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle objects, grasp, turn, and hold items with hands.
  • Work on your feet for extended periods, at least 8 hours.
  • Navigate various areas within the club quickly.
  • Lift, pull, carry, or move objects weighing at least 30 pounds.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing.
