Job summary

WaterWalk Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and property systems in safe, clean, and operational condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, complete work orders, and assist with property improvement projects while prioritizing guest impact.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical, troubleshooting, and general repair skills.
• Ability to independently assess maintenance concerns, identify potential causes, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Experience with HVAC/PTAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, appliances, and general building repairs.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while recognizing when an issue requires escalation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and respond to urgent or guest-impacting requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and property systems.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately, safely, and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform routine repairs involving HVAC/PTAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, appliances, drywall, and basic carpentry.
• Recognize when an issue requires escalation and communicate with the Chief Engineer or property leadership.
• Complete special maintenance projects and property improvement tasks as assigned.
• Document completed maintenance work, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities as required.
